THE FOUNDER'S STORY
I am Kieu-My and I am a passionate advocate of wholesome, seasonal food, deliciously prepared, good for you and kind to the planet.
​
I trained at Ferrandi, in Paris, and as a Natural and Plant-Based Food Chef in London. I celebrate seasonal meals and local fresh ingredients with a vast array of textures, flavours, and freshness. My style of cooking is strongly influenced by my French-Asian background but also by my valuable encounters with Chefs from around the world.
​
Averting food waste and avoiding ingredients which are detrimental to health, and contribute to climate change, is at the heart of every menu I plan.
​
Over the years I have participated in community kitchen projects such as SUFRA, as well as giving cooking classes to individuals and local groups.

OUR MISSION
9Kitchens is a profit-for-purpose business with a mission to:
> Support and contribute to empowering people who face barriers to integration and employment. We are able to train them, provide some of them with earnings above London's Living Wage, whilst enabling them to gain confidence in their work and future employment.
